8 November 2023,the Soroptimist Nippon Foundation presented us with an award.
We run children's cafeterias in Shinjuku City.
There are various children’s cafeterias.

Once a month, you choose foodstuffs and daily necessities to take home, about three plastic baskets at a time.
Targeted at families with children on welfare, child support, tax-exempt and in urgent need of food.(Free English tutoring for children is available for members. Every Tuesday from 5pm to 6.30pm)
6.Shinjuku Niko Niko Food Delivery Project
Location Delivered by home delivery service to each household
Date Once a month on the fourth Sunday of the month, arriving between 18:00 and 20:00
An annual membership fee of 3,000 yen per household.

A basketful of food is delivered by home delivery service. You cannot choose the items. Volunteers choose the items and pack them in a box. Eligible households are families with children on welfare, child support, tax-exempt and in urgent need of food.

Torreburinka is a free school set up in Osaka in November 2003 by former junior high school teachers and their pupils to create a place for children who have stopped attending school, are withdrawn or have disabilities.
The Tokyo branch had hoped to start activities in 2020, but the Corona disaster prevented it from doing so and it will start in 2021.
We would like to ask for your help in this project.

12.Kita Shinjuku Kodomo Shokudo
Free learning support is provided to primary and secondary school students. People from many different cultures and nationalities are welcome. Students bring in the materials they want to study, learn at their own pace and are supported by adults.
Reading and drawing are also allowed; priority is given to what the student wants to do. You can come at any time you want and leave at any time you want. Please enquire and confirm dates and times.
